Community Music Center Programs

From the opening of our first Center in Little 5 Points, we've been committed to realizing a single pedagogical goal: providing students of all ages and varied backgrounds the opportunity to cultivate a genuine musical practice in the style of their own choosing... or making.  We honor discipline and hard work, but we also embrace the critical role fun plays in learning and making music.

Enrolling in Studio Lessons at the Music Center includes optional enrollment in a variety of free Comprehensive Musicianship Program Courses & Workshops, plus participation in motivating and fun Performance Programs.To meet our goal, we offer a variety of programs in Classical, Jazz, Rock, and Roots Music to students of all ages, skill levels, and with differing interests.  Most people who visit us are looking for lessons, which we offer through our unique and effective Core Program.  During the summer, we take full advantage of school closures and engage students through our popular themed Day Camps for kids and an array of fun Summer Intensives in Classical, Jazz, Rock, and Roots Music for older students and adults.   We also work with a number of local public and private schools, sending our faculty to their facilities either to provide a uniquely crafted music education program for all students or to support a targeted music program at the school.
